Notts County, Doncaster Rovers and Morecambe are keen on Nottingham Forest attacker Joe Gardner, according to a report by Football Insider.

The Premier League youngster is attracting plenty of attention from League Two clubs ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.

Gardner, 19, has caught the eye playing for Nottingham Forest Under-21’s this season and may well be loaned out this winter to get some experience under his belt in the Football League.

According to Football Insider, he has emerged on the radar of Notts County, Doncaster Rovers and Morecambe as they all look to bolster their respective squads next month. Fellow fourth tier outfit Harrogate Town have also been credited with an interest in the teenager.

It remains to be seen at this stage what Forest’s exact plan is for him. They would have a big decision to make on where he should go if he is given the green light to depart.
