Willian returned to English football in 2022 to play for Fulham. He was seen as a has been at the time, leaving Arsenal for Corinthians a year before, but on his return he became a very important player for The Cottagers in them establishing a team to survive in the top flight.

He has recently left Olympiacos with very little game time gained over his short time at the club. Strangely he was only starting two games for the current leaders of the Greek Superliga.

He has the ability to take on defenders and could be ideal for a short term deal, but looks more likely to move back to Brazil than starting a short term adventure in England, but his ability on the field would still see him as major treath for defenders in Premier League.

To watch him play is a joy as his skills and movement would give Leicester an edge we do not have at the moment, as well possibly losing Facundo Bounanotte, Willian is a wide alternative up front, that could give Leicester the flair needed to survive this season.

There is no indication he will join Leicester, but he is a player that would have been ideal for a short term deal out the season, and to see him link up with Bilal El Khannouss and Jamie Vardy would be a type of football romance to dream about.

During his two seasons with Fulham, he played a total of 67 competitive games, scoring 10 goals, surely not losing everything in 6 months. At Olympiacos he has played 11 games, not scored, and strangely not being pivotal while in Greece.
