Steve Cooper needs to improve results and if Leicester are in the same table position as now, he will probably still be around when the transfer window appear in January. The prior Leicester manager Enzo Maresca is an admirer of goalkeeper Mads Hermansen. A a deal in the region of £45million have been discussed in previous transfer-talk columns, and this would potantially drive interest both ways.

Leicester on the other hand is said to be keen on a return for Ben Chilwell, currently in the freezer at Chelsea. The left back position is seen as the ultimate Achilles heel, having options that has not yet shown the quality needed to be part of a PL set up.

Leicester sold Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea in the summer, looking to be part of a package between the clubs, both parties benefitting, being able to bring in the cash needed to reach the levels of negative numbers to be reduced to a level acceptable.

The move looked strange from a sporting point of view, as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall played in Championship last season. He was a good player for Leicester, but to be a regular figure in the Chelsea team takes more. So far he has not played much regular Premier League football. He has come off the subs bench 3 times, and not featured since the end of September.

To see his name listed as a potential loan or full transfer in January do not surprise anyone, and we do believe the Leicester born club would love to return, potentially first on loan and later as a permanent deal if that should be possible. Aston Villa and Newcastle are other clubs said to be keen and interested. So far Leicester has not been mentioned, but with the struggles seen so far this season, he would bring quality to the table that Leicester do not have at present.

With a potential Mads Hermansen deal being drawn up, and possibly needed to bring in the cash that could see Steve Cooper getting much needed funds to bring in what he is likely to need to keep Leicester pushing upwards, rather than looking down.
