In a recent publication “My Arsenal Life”, Gooner Martin Wengrow talks about his life. He discusses his special support and engagement with players, staff, and other fellow fans of Arsenal FC. He also shares stories of his special friendship with them.

Jon Sammels, George Armstrong, and Eddie Kelly were also part of that special Arsenal team from the late 60’s and early 70’s. They helped win The Double in 1970-71.

The book also gives insight about the late 80’s and 90’s. During this time, Arsenal had another glorious period under manager George Graham. Alan Smith, signed from Leicester, had a special place in that team playing up front having major impact.

His love for the game and his passion for Arsenal, shows the worth of a fan faithful. Another player to recognize is Martin Keown. He had a short stay at Leicester, but his two spells at Arsenal counts for everything.

Several players have been in both camps. One more is Stephy Mavididi. He started his upbringing in the academy at Arsenal but moved to Juventus. He never truly became a player at The Emirates.

Kevin Campbell should of course be mentioned. He passed away last year. He was a loan player at Leicester early in his career. He did well in the second tier. He later got his full breakthrough at Arsenal. Also having good periods at Everton and Nottingham Forest.
