Leicester 0, Man Utd 3, positives and negatives, player ratings and match report, Premier League fixture

Leicester had some positives to take from the away game vs. Chelsea. despite getting zero. Ruud van Nistelrooy kept faith in the team he fielded, as it must have looked as his best selection.
Man Utd came to the game with a number of injuries. They also decided to rest some of their better players. But again Leicester decided to play with five in the back. They did not have the confidence needed to create good enough chances to score goals.
Leicester were in the game and had some momentum from start. Then in the 28th minute, Rasmus Hoilund scored from close range. This goal brought Man Utd into the lead. From this time on it looked difficult, but still being behind is usual for this football team.
Patson Daka and Jamie Vardy both put pressure on the Man Utd defence. However, these were not attempts or even half chances. They were pressed down by Man Utd defenders.

Leicester gets one massive oppertunity to score in the 49th minute. Soumare drives forward, finding Vardy, but his angle is not good enough to shoot. Patson Daka gets the pass, but as not the correct timing for Daka, not reaching the ball.
Then in the 58th minute Man Utd finds the net, but VAR comes to Leicester’s rescue, as Garnacho was offside. We feel Leicester are chasing a goal. However, Ruud van Nistelrooy strangely decides to sub Patson Daka. He puts on a midfielder instead, Facundo Bounanotte comes on. Bouba Soumare is also taken off, being replaced by Harry Winks. In our view two defensive substitutions when you have the upper hand, very strange.

These two substitutions upset the balance. This gives Man Utd another chance to score. Garnacho makes it 2-0 with a well-placed shot in the 68th minute. The game looks over and again a very disappointing day.
Leicester manager Ruud van Nistelrooy decides to make two more changes. Kasey McAteer and Stephy Mavididi comes on in the 82nd minute, but with no impact at all. Dalot clowns Mavididi to the ground. Dalot then makes a fantastic pass to Bruno. Bruno scores with a fantastic strike. This gives Man Utd a 3-0 win away.
It was another difficult day for Leicester in front of goal. Vardy had his attempts. Daka was almost in position to score. However, he never reached the ball. Vardy with another great pass, but Bounanotte’s attempt was blocked by De Ligt.
Next up is Man City away, hopes are not very high of anything. This is on the 2nd of April as we have an international break coming first.
