Again surprises appear when Sreve Cooper names his prefered eleven, leaving out Oliver Skipp from the starting line-up, as well as leaving out Ricardo Pereira. Giving El Khannouss his starting debut, moving Ndidi out of his offensive midfield positon after a briilliant performance vs. Crystal Palace.

Everton started the game on the front foot and showed quality, Leicester looking to adapt with this change in the set up.

Everton needed only 12 minutes to take the lead. The goal scored by Ndiaye. Ashley Young (39) with the assist. Leicester mabaged to get back into the team and for the rest of the first half pressing for a goal, but attempts were blocked by Everton, as they all looked a bit soft.

Everton came out 2nd half with a bit of momentum, but it was Leicester that pushed for the equalizer, and could easily have scored esrly on, and as they continued to press, everything came to a full blossoming in the 73 rd minute.

Stephi Mavididi, possibly Leicesrer’s best player on the field, scored from close range as Leicester were even, as all Leicester players on the field made a hard shift.

The game then became a bit more open affair and often situation like this end up at in an open affair.

Leicester made a nunber if changes after that, giving minits to youvgsters such as Bounanotta, surp1risingly not having a plan for Jannik Vestegaard.

The rest of the game just ebbed out in the sand as both clubs had minor chances, but again coming back after being 1-0 behind, makes this a point gained abd not two pounts lost.

    • Being able to fight for so long with 10 men
    • Solid defensive work from Okoli and Faes as they kept Everton forwards quiet.
    • Pleasingng to see that Bounanotte being an important player
  • Negatives
    • To allow Everton to score so early in the game.
    • Steve Cooper changing the midfield from the Eeagles game
    • Jamie Vardy so silent, could have given Eduard an earlie step in.
