Leicester came straight back up to Premier League after a season down in The Championship. Leicester had a great season, despite a number of fans complaining, as they always do. Listening to different Leicester fan channels on You Tube, you will soon find out. There are large shoes to fill to be able to entertain and satisfy this part of the fanbase, but do they have a point, of course they have.

Leicester had been a top tier team for ten years with good success, when they suddenly found themselves relegated, but in no way, based on potential, infrastructure and future investment plans to be compared to last seasons relegated teams, Luton, Sheff Utd and Burnley, that is in real totally wrong and a bit unfair.

Leicester was and still are a club of Premier League stature. They should rather be compared to Newcastle, Brighton and Aston Villa, who are also teams in relatively recent time to have come up after being down for a season or two. This is also of course something that sticks in the back of the mind of fans, that Leicester just a season or two were regarded better than those three clubs mentioned.

Steve Cooper looks to follow a plan far from what we have seen under successful managers at the club in the past, with changes few or no one really would have expected. This is of course both questionable and frustrating, as it twist your mind and far from what you would have thought was the correct way going forward.

The win vs. Bournemouth was one very important and every Leicester fan will if points are taken on board vs. Southampton and Forest, be supportive and upbeat, whatever is done, as we in real have no favourites if the team Steve Cooper picks comes of the pitch with results.

The juggling and changes from game to game makes it difficult to see if Steve Cooper will be successful over time with his leadership as it looks a bit like what was done by managers in the past that really had difficulties and got the sack in the end, as the results slided and lower standards reached.

Mads Hermansen, Caleb Okoli, Facundo Bounanotte, Wilfred Ndidi, Wout Faes and James Justin are 6 players that stands out so far this season, and of course the captain himself Jamie Vardy, who has found the goal in two games. The squad is full of Premier League experience, so we should, as fans, be demanding and believe Leicester are more than just a relegation fighter this season.

We have seen some great periods from the Leicester team under Steve Cooper, but also sudden collapses that has resulted in a few defeats, and of course frustrating draws, after looking as winners for long period of the game.

The play is also difficult to analyze as it looks far from a settled plan, but just a roll on and based on instincts from the different players being able to find space and pockets, not really building a style of play.

But fans needs to stay positive, because over these 6 PL games and 2 CC games, the team do look as a fighting unit with special spirit and ability to bring points and positive results on board, whoever are on the other side, that should be the major positive to take from the season so far.
