Franck Haise has extinguished any doubt – he will be the manager of OGC Nice next season. The former RC Lens manager, in his first year at Nice, has been frequently linked with a move away.

Haise’s first year at Nice has been a success. Despite a disastrous UEFA Europa League campaign, Le Gym are flying high in Ligue 1 and, ahead of the Côte d’Azur derby against AS Monaco on Saturday, currently occupy a UEFA Champions League qualification spot.

However, Haise has been frequently linked with a move to Stade Rennais where there is the potential to link up with a former colleague at Lens, Arnaud Pouille. However, the Nice manager has confirmed that he is going nowhere in emphatic terms.

“If we finish second or if we finish eighth, I will be Nice’s manager next season,” he said at a press conference attended by Get French Football News. “This way, things are clear.”
