Lyon want to sell Gift Orban and Saïd Benrahma in January

According to Mohamed Toubache-Ter, Olympique Lyonnais are looking to offload Saïd Benrahma (29) and Gift Orban (22) during the January transfer window.
Both players arrived during the January transfer window last season as the club recruited heavily in order to fight off relegation. Ultimately, those recruits not only saved OL from the drop to Ligue 2, they even drove them to a highly improbable qualification for the UEFA Europa League, and a Coupe de France final.
However, that is not to say that all of those that arrived at Lyon last winter were or are proving to be a success. Since his €14m move from KAA Gent, Orban has found game-time hard to come by, especially in the wake of Georges Mikautaze’s arrival in the summer. He has played just five times in all competitions this season and, as per Toubache-Ter, Les Gones are looking to offload the Nigerian.
Benrahma, who initially arrived on loan at OL before making the move permanent is also surplus to requirements at the Groupama Stadium. His move from West Ham United became permanent in the summer for just over €14m. He has featured more prominently, playing 11 times in all competitions this season.
However, he was omitted from the squad that beat local rivals AS Saint-Étienne over the weekend. Toubache-Ter understands that this was a sanction for some form of unexplained misbehaviour during the draw to Hoffenheim in the UEFA Europa League just a few days earlier. Benrahma and Orban are therefore two players that Lyon will look to sell in just in January.
