According to Foot Mercato, Olympique de Marseille want to test Leeds' commitment to keeping Illan Meslier (24) as they prepare to try and bolster their squad with the imminent arrival of their new manager Roberto De Zerbi.

The French goalkeeper has been at the English side for the past four years after he moved from FC Lorient in 2020. However, with Leeds failing to secure promotion back into the Premier League, the French outlet have speculated that Meslier could look for a new adventure.

Marseille are thought to be keen on Meslier as they believe that he would fit the profile that De Zerbi would like to build around, and could well be in the market for a replacement to Pau López (29) who has been recently linked with a move to Italian side Como 1907

How willing Leeds would be to part with their number one will have to be seen, but with two years left on his contract, they are not particularly in a pressured position to sell.
