PSG's Ousmane Dembélé reveals retirement plan

Ousmane Dembélé (27) is enjoying one of the best campaigns of his career. At Paris Saint-Germain, the former Borussia Dortmund winger already has 12 goal contributions in just 13 games in all competitions, whilst his five goals mean that he is just one short of last season’s tally.
A fixture in the France line-up, Dembélé is in the prime of his career and his current performances are showing that. However, speaking on The Bridge podcast, the former Barcelona forward evoked the idea of retirement, and as he revealed on the show, he has a very specific plan.
If he sticks to the plan outlined, Dembélé still has seven years left as a professional footballer. He has said that, at the age of 34, he wishes to retire from football in order to pursue another passion – real estate. He has said that he wants to go into the real estate business post-career, investing in Africa and in France.
Dembélé, whose contract at PSG runs until 2028, therefore does not see himself remaining in the game when he hangs up his boots in 2031.
