Rennes predicted XI v Troyes: Steve Mandanda to replace Brice Samba
Today at 04:21 AM
Steve Mandanda was dropped as Brice Samba made his debut for Stade Rennais in the 2-1 defeat against Olympique de Marseille at the weekend, however, the veteran goalkeeper is set to make a swift return to the line-up as Rennes face Ligue 2 side ESTAC Troyes in the Coupe de France.
As part of the concussion protocol, Arnaud Kalimuendo will miss this game. Jota, who looks set to leave Rennes this month having struggled to establish himself at the Breton club, also misses out. Glen Kamara is not injured but he will also not be called upon by Jorge Sampaoli.
Les Rennais are expected to put out a strong side with Amine Gouiri, Ludovic Blas and Albert Gronbaek all starting in the attacking positions.
