Six-year-old Le Havre supporter handed stadium ban

According to a report from L’Équipe a six-year-old supporter of Le Havre has been handed a stadium ban. According to the paper, the child was throwing paper cups and scrunched-up paper from the stands and has been hit with a ban until early next year.
The youngster has been accused of throwing projectiles midway through the second half of HAC’s 3-0 win over Reims in early November. The ‘projectiles’ in question were aimed at a friend, and had landed on the edge of the pitch, beyond the advertising hoardings but not on the pitch – and not hitting anyone.
An internal source at Le Havre told L’Équipe “It’s a bit distressing, but we’re obliged to take action on these issues and in the face of exacerbated behavior,” adding that “We need to raise the awareness of those accompanying us, and show that the stadium should remain a place for celebration, not a place to vent our anger."
