Liverpool enjoyed a memorable evening on Wednesday as they beat Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The Reds finally broke their hoodoo against the European champions having lost seven of the previous eight meetings between the teams.
It was a super evening at Anfield, as goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo continued Liverpool’s perfect start to life in Europe this term.
However, it was unfortunately not all good news. The Reds ended the game with two fresh injury worries.
Perhaps the biggest of those concerns came with Ibrahima Konate hobbling off the pitch. The Frenchman is set to be assessed to see if he can make it back in time to play Manchester City on Sunday.
The second problem was for Conor Bradley, who pulled up with what looked like a hamstring issue. And Rousing The Kop understands that Bradley’s issue could now see him sidelined until for the rest of 2024.
Conor Bradley set to miss at least one month
Bradley played brilliantly up against Kylian Mbappe, stepping in valiantly for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was fit enough only for the bench.
However, RTK understands that Alexander-Arnold will now be needed back in the Slot’s starting XI.
It’s understood that initial assessments have indicated that Bradley is set to miss at least one month. of football.
The 21-year-old is expected to be unavailable for at least eight fixtures for Liverpool as they embark on a busy Christmas period.

RTK understands that the trip to face West Ham on December 29th is being slated as a tentative early return date for Bradley.
However, there is also understood to be an acceptance that the Northern Ireland international may miss even longer and could have already played his final game in 2024.
Trent Alexander-Arnold set to step into starting XI
This is disappointing news for Liverpool. Bradley was ‘fantastic’ against Madrid on Wednesday and would have hoped to really kick on during the upcoming fixtures.
It also means that there is now pressure on Alexander-Arnold to hit the ground running after missing several weeks himself.
Trent is expected to come back in to start against Man City, with Joe Gomez being the other consideration.
Arne Slot’s resources could yet be stretched even further, should Gomez or Jarell Quansah be needed to cover for Konate.
