Exclusive: How Khvicha Kvaratskhelia really feels about joining Liverpool this January transfer window

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia would be interested in a move to Liverpool in January, Rousing The Kop can exclusively reveal.
Liverpool are long-term admirers of the Napoli forward and are understood to be firmly in the mix for his signature this month.
As RTK reported on Thursday evening, Liverpool are weighing up a January move for Kvaratskhelia and have the option to include players in any deal.
Although the 23-year-old is in discussions with PSG over a move – and would happily join the Parisians – suggestions that Kvaratskhelia is giving absolute priority to the French club are understood to be wide of the mark
As things stand, RTK have been informed that the Georgian is expecting to leave Napoli in January, with all options – including Liverpool – still firmly on the table.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia interested in Liverpool move
Liverpool had not expected to be given the chance to sign Kvaratskhelia during the January window.
As a result, RTK understands that the Reds are still internally discussing the best approach to take over the coming days.
Napoli are looking for a rough guide of 80 million Euros to sell their winger and despite claims that PSG may be struggling to meet Kvaratskhelia’s asking price, that is understood not to be the case.

Liverpool are being kept in the loop by Kvaratskhelia's representatives, who are also understood to be keeping all his suitors, which include Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City – aware of the situation.
Should Liverpool be informed that there has been a breakthrough with PSG, they will then decide whether or not to make their move.
Kvaratskhelia’s long route to the top
Kvaratskhelia has become a household name in European football over the past three years.
But the Georgian superstar has had a somewhat nomadic journey to the pinnacle of the game.

Coming through the ranks at hometown team Dinamo Tblisi, Kvaratskhelia then moved to fellow Georgian side FC Rustavi after playing just five times for the Dinamo first-team.
A brief loan move to Lokomotiv Moscow was then followed up with a permanent transfer to Rubin Kazan, where the forward stayed for three seasons.
Kvaratskhelia then ended up back in Georgia with Dinamo Batumi, before his move to Napoli in 2022.
