Speaking to TNT Sports after the result, the Argentine international was full of praise for Salah after the winger’s Man of the Match display against Villa, with the Egyptian assisting Nunez’s opener before scoring one of his own.

Mac Allister said: “He’s so good and so important for this team. Not just for the team but for the club as well, he’s a legend here, so I’m happy for him, and when you have him, you know he’s going to deliver and get the numbers, we’re happy for him.”
