Liverpool's keeper spoke about her milestone and about the upcoming tilt against Aston Villa.

Liverpool look to bounce back from last week's 4-nil loss to Arsenal in the Barclay's Women's Super League as they look forward to today's clash against Aston Villa. Manning the post between the sticks for the Reds will be their stalwart goalkeeper, Rachael Laws.

Laws managed to notch a major milestone in Liverpool's major upset over those same gunners in the 1-nil victory in the FA Cup quarterfinals: 100 appearances for the Reds. Now, looking ahead to their meeting with the Villains, the keeper caught up with the official site to reflect on that major milestone.

"It was a proud moment for me, my friends and my family...I've been here nearly five years now. It feels like home. It is my second home. I've bought a house here and I class these as my family. Amazing memories and to do it away to Arsenal in a quarter-final of the FA Cup the biggest cup competition in women's football. To do it with this group is really special and it's one that will live long in my memory."

Moving on to discuss the impending match against Aston Villa, Laws had this to say when asked about the prospect of seeing former Red Missy Bo Kearns again.

"You know what Bo is like. I miss Bo. She's a really good character and a good person. When I do keep in touch with her, there's always a funny story. But come Sunday on the pitch, we're rivals, we're not friends."

Liverpool will look to take all three points against a Villa side that is currently second-to-last in the table. Here's hoping the Reds can manage to right the miscues from last week and bring home the win.
