Liverpool have enjoyed a fantastic season under new manager Arne Slot, with few fans predicting the Dutch coach to be as good as he has been.

The former Feyenoord manager was appointed to succeed Jurgen Klopp in the summer, with Slot tasked with the seemingly impossible job of replacing the Liverpool legend and taking his squad to the next level for this season.

However, to the surprise of many, Slot has managed just that, with Liverpool losing just once this season against Nottingham Forest with the Reds sitting top of the Premier League and UEFA Champions League standings, with the Anfield side also favourites to reclaim the League Cup.

Slot has been the perfect replacement for Klopp at Liverpool

Although Jamie Carragher is keen to explain to Slot why the Premier League title is the most important thing for Liverpool to win this season, there’s a real chance that the Dutch manager could end up scooping up the English championship and more come the end of the campaign.

Top of the Premier League having lost just one game whilst also leading the Champions League standings with a perfect 100% winning record, Slot has taken to life at Liverpool flawlessly having arrived with a mixed reception from fans and pundits.

Indeed, Carlo Ancelotti admitted that he tweaked his Real Madrid tactics after being beaten by Liverpool, a result that many supporters would say has been Slot’s best yet since making the move to Anfield, along with finally beating Manchester City.

And with Slot enjoying a near-perfect first half of the season with Liverpool, things are looking extremely bright for the Reds, who going into 2025 could once again compete for the quadruple having fallen short in recent years for this historic landmark.
