Rousing The Kop brings you the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumours, as gossip columns bulge with updates on the Reds' interest in deals including for Tyler Dibling.

While transfer activity at Anfield has been minimal since Arne Slot took over the head coach of Liverpool last summer, plenty of players have been linked with moves in and out over the winter 2025 window. Some stars may even seal switches soon as deadline day draws closer.

Liverpool are into the final two weeks of the winter 2025 transfer window but are still yet to confirm any new signings. Instead, the only action on Merseyside so far in January has been with players leaving on loan in their bids to see more regular first-team minutes this season.

Slot and the transfer team at Liverpool have identified plenty of potential targets who could improve the Dutchman's team, though. With that in mind, Rousing The Kop has rounded up the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumours with links flowing in and also out of Anfield…

Brentford set to beat Liverpool to Michael Kayode's transfer from Fiorentina

One player whom Liverpool admire is Michael Kayode but the Reds are now running the risk of missing out on the right-back's transfer from ACF Fiorentina to Brentford. That is because Fabrizio Romano reports that Brentford's negotiations with Fiorentina are in the final stages.

Kayode has given his go-ahead to a transfer to Brentford whilst the Bees and Fiorentina find a total agreement for his services, with some key details still to be finalised. The 20-year-old could thus be Premier League bound despite starting one of his five Serie A games this term.

Liverpool line up Anis Hadj Moussa's transfer from Feyenoord

Slot will already welcome one new player to Anfield this summer with Giorgi Mamardashvili arriving one year on from agreeing to a transfer from Valencia. But the Reds could also have plans in place to further bolster their first-team squad come the end of the current season.

Reports now claim that Liverpool are advancing their interest in Anis Hadj Moussa's transfer from Feyenoord for the summer sales. His departure from the Eredivisie outfit in the winter market is considered improbable but the Reds are the closest club to securing an early deal.

Liverpool are looking into a £10m transfer for Moussa, who is a 22-year-old Algeria forward, but Feyenoord could yet demand more if his form continues. The Paris, France-born winger has impressed Liverpool with Moussa scoring six and assisting two goals in 22 games so far.

RB Leipzig prepare £25.5m bid for Liverpool target Tyler Dibling

Liverpool are one of the clubs to have shown an interest in Tyler Dibling given the forward's form with Southampton this season despite the Saints battling to avoid relegation from the Premier League. Yet the Reds may need to do more than only show an interest in a transfer.

Florian Plettenberg claims that 'half of Europe', including Tottenham Hotspur, are following the 18-year-old. The Sky Germany reporter even claims that RB Leipzig are prepared to pay Southampton €30m (£25.5m) for Dibling but the bid would fall short of the Saints' price tag.

Southampton value Dibling at much more than RB Leipzig's offer given the number of clubs considering a transfer. The pacey forward is also under contract through to June 2027 at St Mary's, where Dibling has two goals this season in his first 20 career top-flight appearances.

Liverpool set to rule on loan transfers for Jayden Danns and James McConnell

Liverpool academy prospect Jayden Danns and James McConnell are attracting late-window interest in a loan transfer. A clutch of Championship clubs are keen to take stock of the pair's availability before the final weeks of the window and will get an answer from the Reds soon.

Blackburn Rovers, Preston North End and Stoke City headline the Championship interest in a loan transfer for Danns. But they all risk missing out on a deal as Liverpool will decide Danns and McConnell's futures next week as Slot weighs up if they can add to depth the first-team.
