This rumour comes amidst a lack of minutes for Elliott.

According to a report from Lyall Thomas of Sky Sports, Brighton and Borussia Dortmund are monitoring Harvey Elliott's availability.

Since returning from a broken foot, the midfielder has struggled to find minutes, which has naturally sparked some speculation over his status in the squad.

Now, Brighton and Dortmund are certainly clubs that know what they're doing when it comes to young players. In Elliott, you have a highly productive 21-year-old who already has a ton of experience playing at the top level, so you can see why they would be interested.

There has been no indication from Liverpool's side that they're willing to let Elliott go. Without being privy to anything going on in training, the lack of minutes could be attributed simply to him coming back from injury, and he's probably 3rd choice for the 10 spot behind Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones. I doubt Liverpool are actually considering moving Elliott on at this moment, but who knows what this summer and whatever moves lie in store for the Liverpool squad.
