Liverpool have started the new Premier League season in perfect fashion, with Arne Slot claiming three wins from three and not conceding once.
Tied on points with Manchester City, the Reds have been exceptional in the first three Premier League games of the new campaign, with Liverpool back in action this weekend against Nottingham Forest, where Curtis Jones will be available for selection.
With the UEFA Champions League also returning in a few days, Liverpool face a huge test in AC Milan at the San Siro, with the Reds potentially looking to go all the way in Europe once again to claim a seventh continental title.
And Alisson Becker has now predicted one Liverpool star to win an acclaimed award this season.
Luis Diaz predicted to score the Premier League Goal of the Season
Speaking to Sky Sports, the Brazilian international named Luis Diaz as the Liverpool player most likely to score the Premier League Goal of the Season, with Alisson saying: “The goal of the season will be scored by Luis Diaz.”
With three goals already this season for Liverpool in the league, Diaz looks to have finally hit his stride with the Anfield giants, with the forward locking down the left-wing position for himself as a result.

Given the array of goals Diaz has already scored for Liverpool during his time on Merseyside, there’s a real chance that the Colombia international could end up bagging the Premier League Goal of the Season if he can maintain his current form.
And with Liverpool a club that often find themselves in the conversation for the Goal of the Season award every year, Diaz could be the Reds’ nominee this campaign if he ends up producing something truly special.
Diaz needs to remain focussed on performing for Liverpool

Yet for Diaz, the winger’s main mission needs to be performing for Liverpool and doing all he can to help his team win every possible point there is to claim, with a title race on the cards for this season.
