Omar Marmoush is set to see his wage packet increase from €2m gross to €16-17m gross when he moves to Manchester City.

That's according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who reports the striker will take home around €10m a year net at the Etihad.

He reports that the striker will see his gross wages increased by 700% by Manchester City. He currently earns €2m gross in Germany.

The Premier League champions are closing in on a deal with Frankfurt for the forward. Plettenberg reports this will be a €75m fixed fee with €5m in bonuses included. That will get them to the €80m price tag Frankfurt have put on their star man.

And he will be paid handsomely too, with €10m net a year working out at around €192,000 per week. His current wage packet works out around €38,000 per week gross.

It's a huge increase for the striker, with Manchester City putting their money where their mouth is to secure his signature this month.

He's one of several new signings set to arrive at the Etihad in this window. Vitor Reis is set to join from Palmeiras and Abdukodir Khusanov is also joining from Lens.
