How Our Team See Saturday's Match

Manchester City welcome Chelsea to the Etihad Stadium as they look to extend their domestic unbeaten run to seven matches. The Blues will also need to put the harsh midweek defeat to PSG firmly behind them as they face a run of games that could define their season.

Following Saturday's match, City face a do-or-die battle in the Champions League and also have tough matches against Arsenal, Newcastle, Liverpool and Spurs on the horizon as well as a tricky FA Cup tie at Leyton Orient.

Chelsea sit two points above the Blues and victory for the visitors could see the Blues fighting it out wite Newcastle and Bournemouth for a place in the Europa League.

As always, our team are here to give us their views and predictions on how the match will go. Here's what we all think this week.

Saul

Tricky match, City need to be fired up and I hope we see a debut or two. City 2-1 tight win.

City 2-1 Chelsea

Will

Just as we thought City were back, they showed that they're very much not.

Ruben Dias is out, Nathan Ake is out and Jeremy Doku is out. But they'll be replaced by the three new signings in the squad.

Chelsea's indifferent form and the performance against Ipswich last week gives me confidence that City will be able to edge a win over the line, but it won't be easy.

City 4-2 Chelsea

Thomas

City look to correct their course after yet another crushing late collapse. With new recruits in the squad and available for selection, it will be interesting to see if any of Reis, Marmoush, or Khusanov see the pitch. As for match predictions, it is getting difficult to predict what City will do against another side fighting for a Champions League spot. I hope the influx of new players will lift the energy of the club. But I think this ends in a draw.

City 2-2 Chelsea

Pete

I just give up with this team at the moment. Where once we had an idea of how matches would go, they've decided to invoke the spirit of the 80s and 90s and given us some unpredictable form. Chelsea won't be a pushover, but they did become the only team to lose at Ipswich in the league this season, which took some doing. I'm going to go for a draw.

City 3-3 Chelsea

How We Did Against PSG

Do you really need reminding? It's been a while since City have collapsed like that from such a good position and, rather surprisingly, none of our team predicted this. Let's see if we do any better this week.

Table is as you were but here it is anyway:
