Preview

It's a new era in the Champions League under the new Swiss model and league table method.

This is a tough and stingy team and they play a tough style for City here in the new round robin style tourney.

City should have more than enough despite it being another match in very few days of rest and it being a must win. Expect some sparks. and slight rotation.

It should be an interesting match.

PEP GUARDIOLA PREVIEW

"As much as they can will be fine. We have to do the rest," Pep pointed out.

"Of course, if we perform well, and we will be in a good rhythm, they will be there like they were against Chelsea in the last game, that we felt more than ever this session that they were with us even though the start was really, really tough.

"We played against them years ago and they've made a step up in how aggressive they are, and they play really well with the ball. We have to perform really well to win the game."

"I expect a tough, tough opponent. When a team is 20 games unbeaten - no losses - it is because they are good. There are no secrets about that.

"I saw their games and I saw the reason they beat Aston Villa, Juventus, Milan they played good. Celtic in Glasgow … they did really well.

"Different variations in the build-up and the man marking situation is always uncomfortable. We have to read well what we have to do.

"But every team - Manchester City included- has weaknesses. You have to discover them and punish them."

Team News
