Manchester City would be the next destination for Real Valladolid’s Juma Bah, according to claims from Spain.
Marca have a report on the defender and their title says he will pay the clause ‘to go to’ Manchester City.
The 18-year-old will pay his termination clause to free himself from the contract, and so he can join Pep Guardiola’s side. His agent has communicated the same to Real Valladolid.
Diario de Valladolid reported this and Marca, after relaying it, then provide their own take on the case.
Marca state the centre-back has a €6m release clause in a youth team contract, which will rise to €12m if he gets a reserve team salary and to €30m with first team wages.
Bah is currently on a youth team contract and the report states Real Valladolid have tried to tie him down to a new deal since he made his senior breakthrough.
The teenager currently earns €2,500 per month and the Spanish club refused to improve his salary with the new deal. Therefore, his agent refused to accept a renewal, meaning his current clause is at €6m.
In the ‘last few hours’, Manchester City attempted to negotiate a deal with Real Sociedad for €8m. This has ‘resulted in a less ideal solution’, with the player paying his clause.
Marca state: ‘…if he keeps his word, Juma Bah will pay €6m to the RFEF. Once this entry to Real Valladolid has been notified, the player will be able to pack his bags and go to Manchester City.’
