What a loss done disappointingly.

Manchester City 1, Phil Foden 4'

Sporting 4, Gyökeres 38', 49' (Pen), 80' (Pen), Araujo 46'

Welcome to your quick recap.

Manchester City are leaving this weekend with a Champions League clash loss and some questions to answer after this defeat in a week plagued by injuries. The match highlighted by the many failures in it, seeing many misses and being at less than 100%.

A match that had a similar feel to most City matches, yet resulted in some good play for the team as the intensity was present early. It was a bit disjointed at points, but it was a ultimately a little too too late as they lost.

One where City was in control with possession and chances created. They played a very sloppy match and are now sitting only okay in the UCL round robin race.

City had so many players who played badly this time and that includes some lineup choices that were forced by injury & sickness.

Two players of note who did play well and were lively were Phil Foden, and Rico Lewis who showed up well despite the loss.

The story of the night is that City get hit with another loss in the season and now need to heal.

An ufair result and we move.
