Eintracht Frankfurt have put West Ham United's Niclas Füllkrug high on their list if Omar Marmoush leaves for Manchester City this month.

That's according to journalist Patrick Berger, who reports that Füllkrug is high on Eintracht Frankfurt's list as a possible successor to their star man.

The Germany striker, who has a contract with West Ham until 2028, has been a topic of discussion at Frankfurt for some time. Things could now 'get hot' this month if there is movement around Marmoush.

That will depend on Manchester City, who are believed to be pushing to sign the Egyptian striker in this window.

Reports in Germany have made it clear that the striker and his entourage have already been talking about a possible move and he would like to move to the Etihad.

No formal proposal has been made to Frankfurt, something they have insisted publically, but the feeling has been that will change before too long. It will take a big money offer, though, with Frankfurt rating their striker at €80m.

Manchester City believe a deal can be done for less than that and it seems if they can strike an agreement and Marmoush moves, they are ready to turn and try and get Füllkrug from West Ham.
