Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim revealed that Altay Bayindir will start between the spots against Arsenal this weekend.

The Red Devils will kickstart their FA Cup campaign with a tricky trip to London, as they take on the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

This probably wasn't the opening outing the Portuguese manager desired, as his team faces a swift elimination unless they manage to topple the Gunners on their own ground. The last time these two met,  Mikel Arteta's men prevailed by two goals to nil in a Premier League contest last month, with the North Londoners taking full advantage of United's miserable set-piece defending.

While it remains to be seen what adjustments Amorim and his staff will make on the dead-ball front, the manager revealed on Friday that Bayindir will be the one defending the Red Devils' goal this goal, thus giving Andre Onana a breather.

This could give the Man Utd supporters something to worry about, as the 26-year-old was last seen in the Carabao Cup quarter-final defeat to Spurs when he had a shaky showing between the sticks, even conceding a goal from a direct corner kick.

But aside from swapping his goalkeepers, the 39-year-old insists he's looking to field his best possible lineup, as he doesn't see a reason for rotation.

"It doesn't make sense for me to rest players now to play two games that are really near," said the former Sporting CP coach in his pre-match press conference via Sky Sports.

"We have to put the best team and win. We have to follow the last performance. We are in a difficult moment, but we are improving. We had some training, let's put the best team to try to win and then we will focus on the next game.

"We want to win the cup and in the cup, you never know. Sometimes it's good to win this kind of game because you have less time to rest, but in your mind is so different that you can cope with the physical aspect."
