Long-term planning is as important for a club of Manchester United’s stature as short-term success and it’s up to the likes of Dan Ashworth & co. to keep the wheels moving to ensure that the club keeps an eye out on potential future transfer targets.

Thus, the opportunity to come back to Old Trafford and continue his career where it all started might be enticing for the £597,000 a year star. It remains to be seen if Angel Gomes is tempted by the opportunity to return to Man Utd

With so much interest in him, it will be a surprise should Gomes sign a new contract with Lille. An opportunity to return to the Premier League could be enticing and let’s see if Man Utd make a move to sign him next season.
