Man Utd can raise £175m by offloading five first-team stars this summer - opinion

Manchester United are preparing for a busy summer transfer window.
The club have already started the groundwork under manager Ruben Amorim.
Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha has emerged as the number one forward target.
United are optimistic about negotiating terms with the Brazilian by next month. He has a release clause worth £62.5 million in his Wolves contract.
Meanwhile, Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap is also high on their transfer radar. The 22-year-old can be signed for £30m once Ipswich are relegated.
Aside from the duo, the Red Devils could also pursue a new defensive midfielder, a right wing-back and a central defender this summer.
A goalkeeper could also be considered depending on the future of Andre Onana.
The Red Devils may not make such a huge outlay without outgoings, considering the risk of breaching the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
In our view, the club could recoup as much as £175m from the departure of five players this summer.
Marcus Rashford (£40m)
The Englishman fell out-of-favour under manager Ruben Amorim before the Manchester derby in December. He was loaned out to Aston Villa in February with an option to buy for £40m.
Rashford has transformed his fortunes at the Midlands outfit with four goals and six assists from 17 games. There is a good possibility that Villa will trigger the buy clause this summer.
Even if they don’t, the Red Devils should be optimistic of receiving £40m from elsewhere, considering his good run of form over the past few months under manager Unai Emery.
Jadon Sancho (£25m)
Sancho was loaned out to Chelsea before the transfer deadline last summer. As part of the deal, the Blues agreed a conditional obligation to buy him for £25m if they finish 14th or above in the league.
The clause has now been triggered, but Chelsea can pull out by paying a £5m penalty fee. We believe the Blues will purchase the 25-year-old, given his improved form during the season run-in.
Antony (£40m)
The former Ajax man has had a dismal career with United, with just 12 goals and five assists from 95 outings. He appears to have turned his fortunes around since his January loan move to Real Betis.
Antony has found his feet in Spanish football. He has nine goal contributions from 17 outings. Atletico Madrid have emerged as surprise contenders to purchase the Brazil international this year.
The Red Devils seem confident of securing at least £40m from his summer exit.
Alejandro Garnacho (£60m)
United were actively looking to part ways with Garnacho during the last transfer window. Napoli were determined to land his signature but could not negotiate suitable terms.
Their £50m offer was deemed insufficient for the Red Devils, but the Naples outfit could make a renewed approach for the winger, who is reportedly valued at £60m by United.
Garnacho would provide pure profit for the Mancunian giants, having graduated through the academy.
Casemiro (£10m)
The former Real Madrid man has been in sublime form for United over recent weeks, but the club could cash in on his services when the transfer window reopens this summer.
The experienced midfielder is one of the highest earners at the club at £350,000 weekly. United may want to remove his salary from their wage bill as he enters the last year of his contract.
Casemiro turned down Roma in January with a view to moving to the Saudi Pro League. He has a Transfermarkt value of £10m. United will hope to receive something similar.
United could raise as much as £175m from the above-mentioned quintet. This would help the club to go on another big spending spree during the summer transfer window.
