Manchester United somewhat have their hands tied in the January transfer market, finding themselves in a situation where they need to make sales before they buy this month, to ensure that they comply with the FFP rules.

The Red Devils have a number of players in their current squad who they would be willing to part ways with. Amorim has seemingly sidelined quite a few players for whom exits can be sorted out this month.

Now, as per Calciomercato, Man Utd could be willing to sell both Joshua Zirkzee and Marcus Rashford this winter transfer window to make room in the squad and eventually sign Juventus striker, Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbian center is on Man Utd's radar as they look for a goal scorer who can potentially be an upgrade in front of goal and help solve the club's goalscoring woes.

Vlahovic is valued at around £54.8million which isn’t surprising in today’s scheme of things.

Both Zirkzee and Rashford have not had great seasons so far at Old Trafford. The former was a summer signing who might take time to settle in but the latter is a club academy graduate who has been with Man Utd for much of his footballing career.

Letting go of Zirkzee and Rashford to sign a new striker is understandable and something that one can get behind but Vlahovic is not consistent enough in front of goal to be considered an elite striker who can improve Man Utd.

Thus, even if Manchester United want to sign a new number nine, it would be wise if the Red Devils look at an alternative for the Siberian striker and let's wait and see how things play out going forward.
