Man United are under a new project headed by Ruben Amorim which really took flight last weekend when the Red Devils beat their local rivals Manchester City 2-1 in a dramatic late win in the Premier League thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo.
It wasn’t exactly a vintage display from the Red Devils but they did enough to ensure that on merit, they deserved together three points from a riveting derby.

Amorim’s time at the club has been hit or miss so far but that result should give him a lot of peace.
Having let go of Dan Ashworth recently, Man United are in search of a new sporting director. Despite this, they are continually linked with transfers for new players with a few names in the current squad also being placed on the chopping block.
It is no secret now that Marcus Rashford’s future at the club is far from certain. As per Sky Sports, Man Utd have made contact to sign talented Atlanta playmaker, Ademola Lookman, who has been in impressive form this season.
As per the report, Lookman is valued at around €50 million. However, a case can be made that considering his unbelievable form this season, the talented attacker should be valued much higher in the current transfer market.
Just last month, Caught Offside came up with a report revealing that the player’s valuation is as high as £57.9million. The 27-year-old has played 19 times across all competitions for the Italian club so far this season, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists.
Having previously played in the Premier League with Everton, adaptation is unlikely to be an issue for Lookman.
His versatility also makes him a great asset with the player capable of playing anywhere across the frontline and this would be an incredible signing by Man United, should they be able to pull this off. Let’s wait and see how it goes.
