Manchester United 'awaiting loan offers' for player – Intermediaries 'seek proposals' in England and Spain

Manchester United are 'awaiting loan offers' for Antony in January, with intermediaries at work to try and find suitors.

That's according to UOL, who report that the initial idea is to let Antony leave on loan so that he can revalue himself between now and the end of the season.

The belief is that his time at Manchester United so far has left him 'undervalued' and a loan deal could be the ideal solution to that.

Ruben Amori has 'always admired' the Brazilian's characteristics but the reality is that Antony has not taken advantage of the opportunities presented to him since Amorim was appointed.

That's left him as part of the group of players placed on the 'negotiable list' at Old Trafford, alongside compatriot Casemiro, who is heading towards Saudi Arabia.

Some intermediaries in Europe have tried to 'seek proposals' for the former São Paulo and Ajax forward, mainly offering him in Spain and England. So far, nothing official has been offered to Manchester United, with whom the 24-year-old's contract runs until 2027.

A report in Spain this week indicated that Real Betis were potentially eying a move for the Manchester United man, something which may have been prompted by intermediaries offering him around on United's behalf.
