Manchester United have had an issue at left-back for quite some time now. When fit, Luke Shaw is one of the best players in the world in his position but the English veteran has had a huge struggle with staying fit for the past season and a half.

Their other option – Tyrell Malacia has hardly been seen in Carrington for around 18 months now. He has just returned to training and it could be a while before he returns to the first-team setup. Meanwhile, no one knows how hit fitness would hold up.

This could prompt the club to dip into the market for a new left-back. As per Team Talk, Man Utd are now plotting a move to sign Bournemouth full-back Milos Kerkez, who has been incredible for the Cherries.

The 20-year-old Hungarian left-back is already experienced at the international level. Kerkez has represented his nation 21 times at the senior most level and a bid of more than £40m would be enough to interest the Bournemouth

This summer, the Vitality outfit resisted the temptation to sell. The youngsyer brings an incredible exuberance to the team. At his age, he already has the experience of playing regularly in the English top flight and that should hold him in good stead.

Milos Kerkez will know that if Shaw returns, he will have to rotate with the English veteran at Man Utd.

What the Englishman brings to the table along with football talent is leadership and the 20-year-old gets the chance to learn a lot from the experienced player.

It remains to be seen if Man Utd make a concrete move to sign Kerkez in the coming days. The 20-year-old is a promising talent for the Red Devils to sign and let’s wait and see if Dan Ashworth makes a move in the coming transfer windows.
