Manchester United may have finally found an agreement for Lecce's Patrick Dorgu, with belief their latest offer may be accepted.

Gazzetta dello Sport cover the situation today and 'the turning point' in negotiations which may lead Manchester United to finally getting their man.

The newspaper reports that Dorgu is getting closer to Manchester United. The Salento club initially refused an offer from the Premier League side worth €28m plus bonuses.

However, Manchester United have returned with a new bid in the last few hours worth over €30m. There is no mention if this is a €30m base fee or the total package will be over that price.

Either way, it is a proposal that the Italian side 'have taken into consideration' and negotiations have now been pushed along. Indeed, the new offer is being treated as the turning point in talks between the various parties.

To be clear, Manchester United's offer has not been accepted as yet but it seems talks are now heading in a positive direction.

This may be why they have given Antony the green light to head on loan to Real Betis. It was previously stated that Ruben Amorim would not sanction that until he had a replacement lined up.

Dorgu is the one he wants, indeed Gazzetta say he is at the top of Amorim's wish list, and United may now be closing in on a deal for him.
