After being left out of the starting 11 for Manchester United's away clash against Southampton over the weekend, Alejandro Garnacho is certainly making a case to cement his place in the side.
The Argentine livewire has just netted his second of the night during the Reds' third-round Carabao Cup clash vs Barnsley, receiving an inch-perfect pass from Christian Eriksen and carrying the ball before slotting it comfortably past Gabriel Slonina.
As such, Garnacho now boasts an impressive three goals in two matches, having scored off-the-bench in the 3-0 win over the Saints at St. Mary's.
Erik ten Hag now has a selection headache awaiting him when the Reds return to Premier League action on Saturday, with all of Garnacho, Amad Diallo, Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee vying for a starting spot.
