The 31-year-old signs on a free transfer after agreeing to join the newly-promoted Foxes.

Speaking to LCFC.com, De Cordova-Reid said: "Turning up here was a special moment, looking around and seeing the infrastructure. It's got that wow factor. It feels nice. I'm delighted to be here and I can't wait to get going.

"I had a good chat with the Manager, he told me the vision of the Club. I spoke to him a few times and he was very clear in what he wanted and what he saw in me. He believes in me and it's a perfect fit for me."

It brings to an end De Cordova-Reid's five-year spell in west London which began with a successful loan in 2019.

Cooper will be keen to take advantage of his versatility as both a forward or a winger.

The Leicester boss continues to work on adding to his squad and expects to wrap up the signing of highly-rated Chelsea starlet Michael Golding on Friday.

The 18-year-old joined Leicester in separate deal following Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's £30million switch to Chelsea.

Leicester are still trying to persuade Wilfried Ndidi to extend his stay at the King Power Stadium.

The Nigerian is out of contract this summer and has been tracked by Everton and overseas clubs. However, the Foxes are hopeful of reaching a deal to keep the 27-year-old at the club.

Meanwhile, Leicester's dispute with the Premier League over a breach of Profitability and Sustainability Rules [PSR] continues to rumble on.

The Midlands club were charged in March and could face a hefty points deduction.

Leicester argued that as the breach occurred in the 2022/23 campaign, the Premier League did not have the authority to punish the club and that sanctions should have been imposed back then.

An independent commission has dismissed Leicester's stance prompting the club to launch an appeal against the verdict.
