More Defensive Changes: Predicted 4-3-3 Tottenham Hotspur Lineup vs Wolves
Yesterday at 05:16 PM
Bidding to return back to winning ways in the Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur host Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.
Spurs have lost back-to-back league games to Liverpool and Nottingham Forest; they suffered a 6-3 home hammering at the hands of Liverpool before being beaten 1-0 by Nottingham Forest at City Ground on Boxing Day. This means the North Londoners have won just once in their last five league fixtures.
Ange Postecoglou is a man under huge pressure now and he will want to release some off his shoulders by getting all three points against Wolves, who have enjoyed a new manager bounce under Vitor Pereira with two wins in as many games.
Tottenham Team News
Tottenham's injury crisis deepened on Boxing Day with Radu Dragusin being forced off with a muscle issue in the second half. He is a big doubt ahead of Sunday's fixture, while Djed Spence is suspended against Wolves for picking up two yellow cards in the defeat at Nottingham Forest.
To make matters worse, Ange Postecoglou confirmed in his press conference on Friday that Ben Davies has suffered a setback in training and will be out for the next two weeks.
Predicted Tottenham lineup vs Wolves (4-3-3)
Goalkeeper
Fraser Forster should keep his place in the Tottenham lineup in the absence of Guglielmo Vicario. He will be keen to keep a clean sheet after conceding 10 goals in the last three games.
Defence
Tottenham's weakest position at the moment owing to several injury problems, Ange Postecoglou will have to be creative in picking his back four on Sunday. Archie Gray appears likely to start in central defence, having been a consistent performer of late. Young academy kid Alfie Dorrington could be thrown at the deep end to partner Gray in central defence.

Pedro Porro should replace the suspended Djed Spence at right-back, with Destiny Udogie retaining his spot at left-back in the Tottenham lineup.
Midfield
Yves Bissouma should be fresh to start this one after coming on for a few minutes against Forest. He could start in a deeper role in a three-man midfield.
Rodrigo Bentancur, who returned from a seven-game domestic suspension on Boxing Day, should retain his spot in the engine room. James Maddison will be pushing to start in place of Pape Matar Sarr, bringing much-needed creativity and flair which Spurs lacked in the defeat to Forest.
Attack
Spurs' best player this season, Dejan Kulusevski will try to unlock the Wolves backline from the right flank. From the opposite wing, skipper Son Heung-min should look to impress after a disappointing performance in midweek.
Dominic Solanke is a certainty to lead the Spurs attack. The Englishman will try to cause problems with his hold-up play and smart runs in behind the Wolves backline. Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner should get minutes off the bench.
