A very busy Heston included the German Women's team following their win at Wembley the previous night. Apparently, they had used the TSG Training Facilities all week. 

La'Trell Jones managed to get his hand to a dangerous cross from the right-flank, but with no Bournemouth players following up, it came to nothing. 

The Cherries took the lead from a corner when Jay Williams flicked the ball past La'Trell Jones. 

The away side went further ahead a couple of minutes later when Jonny Day rounded the Rangers keeper and tapped the ball into an empty net. 

QPR's first real attempt at goal was provided by Fraser Neill. His strike from fully 25-yards closely evaded the upright.  

Then, Philip Sanyaolu knocked the ball on to an overlapping Lorenzo Strachan and his cross/shot came off a defender at the near-post, before going behind for a corner. 

This was a good period for the R's. A Rocco Friel free header went just wide of the target.  

Rangers deservedly pulled a goal back on 27 minutes when Luka Radojevic's attempt came off the arm of a defender. Lorenzo Strachan stepped up and sent Hayden McGhann the wrong way.  

At the other end, the Cherries really should have gone 1-3 up. After Jonny Day's strike had been saved, Ryan Carroll following up, and just yards out, somehow put the ball wide. 

Zhaviah Campbell burst down the wing, before cutting in and firing over the crossbar. 

Mr Dunn booked Tommy Whitehead for a naughty challenge on Cory Adjetey-Brew, which left the R's defender in need of some attention. 

Just before the break, Luka Radojevic belted one just over the bar. Half-time: 1-2. 

Bournemouth made it 1-3 within a minute or so of the restart, when danger man Jonny Day burst through the middle, before tapping the ball past the keeper.  

Luka Radojevic was shown a yellow card after a clear pull-back on an opponent. The resulting free kick from just outside the box, flashed just wide of the target. 

The first changes were made when Kemoko Keita-Turay and Lorenzo Strachan were replaced by Gabriel Cuthbert and Robin Ashamu respectively. 

Jonny Day, twisting and weaving his way forward, and with Ryan Carroll unmarked to his left, took it on and shot just wide of the post. 

After 65 minutes, Rocco Friel went on a good run, before finding a team-mate in the box, and the resulting effort then came off the upright. 

Jonny Day completed his hat-trick after Rangers had given the ball away. The Bournemouth striker had also notched up another one the previous week against Millwall.  

On 70 minutes, Hassan Hamid came on for Fraser Neill. 

Charlie Stevens forced a superb save from La'Trell Jones, when the R's keeper dived backwards to palm the ball over the crossbar. 

Gabriel Cuthbert was booked after a tug on an opponent. The resulting free kick was comfortably held by the R's keeper. 

Substitute Robin Ashamu narrowed the gap after 78 minutes with a header at the far-post, following Rico Kennedy's superb cross. 

The visitors added two further goals in the closing stages, courtesy of Ryan Carroll and Ethan Sills.
