Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers are two players on fine form at Rangers this winter.

But come the end of the January transfer window, both players could be shipped out of Ibrox leaving them club's frontline painfully exposed.

Now, the Gers have been linked to a £10m Premier League striker but if an ambitious deal is to be thrashed out, it sends an ominous message about the future of both Ibrox frontmen.

Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane shine for Rangers

Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane were both on fine form as Rangers recorded a much-needed away win against Dundee United.

Cyriel forced a couple of saves from Arabs keeper Jack Walton and even had a goal disallowed for Nedim Bajrami being offside in the build-up.

But the big hitman did not miss when he rocketed a late left-foot effort into the far corner at Tannadice to complete the 3-1 victory.

It was Dessers' sixth goal in four games and followed on from a stunning left-foot finish at Old Trafford in the Europa League.

Philippe Clement has previously admitted Cyriel Dessers could leave Rangers this January amid interest from Spain, Italy and France.

Hamza Igamane might not have gotten himself on the scoresheet at Tannadice but the Moroccan also firmly caught the eye in Dundee.

In an impressive performance, Igamane earned comparisons to Lionel Messi amongst Rangers fans for his superb close control, wonderful dribbling and obscene touches.

Igamane has been linked to Tottenham Hotspur with Ange Postecoglou toiling at Spurs and in dire need of fresh firepower.

Rangers linked to £10m Nottingham Forest striker

Despite the form of Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane, Rangers are said to be monitoring a £10m striker who finds himself out of favour in the Premier League.

The Sun and journalist Alan Nixon are claiming that Rangers are 'monitoring' the situation with Nottingham Forest hitman Emmanuel Dennis.

The report claims the Champions League hopefuls are 'desperate' to flog the £4m per year striker but that no-one is willing to meet the Nigerian's £80k per week wages.

Remarkably, Rangers have been still been linked alongside the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, with Dennis having a spell on loan at Istanbul Basaksehir last season.

Philippe Clement has previous working with Emmanuel Dennis, who played under the Belgian during a four-year stint with Club Brugge.

We don't have to tell you that Rangers have changed tact in their recruitment profile and are instead trying to cut salaries, not add them to the club's inflated wage bill.

The only realistic way that Rangers add Emmanuel Dennis to their squad is also if either Hamza Igamane or Cyriel Dessers leave the club this January.
