Tore Andre Flo shared the Rangers dressing room during a different era at Ibrox.

The lanky £12m Norwegian striker was the most expensive player in a dressing room full of international titans who should've really achieved more at Ibrox.

There were Dutch internationals, Scottish stalwarts, even footballers from as far flung as Argentina, Russia and Trinidad and Tobago.

Tore Andre Flo has been speaking about his time at Rangers on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast this week.

Asked who was the 'best player' he played with at Rangers, the hitman mentioned three of his former Ibrox teammates but there was only ever going to be one choice.

Tore Andre Flo on 'best player' at Rangers

"There were some great players," said Flo when asked who was the best player he played with at Rangers.

"In my time there was a lot of players from Holland.

"Dick Advocaat was the manager and he brought up some players From Holland.

"The player I want to mention is Michael Mols. He played for the national team, for the Netherlands, as well.

"What was special about him was the turn. He turned the best way I've ever seen a player do, so I would mention him.

"Obviously Barry Ferguson was there, the captain. Big player.

"I even played with Claudio Caniggia from Argentina for a little while, he was a cool play but maybe Michael Mols.

"He just nicked it for me because of that brilliant turn."

Chelsea legend the 'best player' Flo ever played with

Tore Andre Flo has been reflecting on his career with the lanky striker speaking highly of his time at Rangers.

But the hitman reckons the pressure of playing at Ibrox with such a hefty price tag had a monumental impact despite a healthy return of 38 goals in 71 games.

Joining the Gers from Premier League Chelsea, Flo went from one dressing room full of icons to another and has singled out one player from his career who was better than all the rest.

And the striker reckons that if Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola was still kicking a ball, he'd be worth over £100m.

"He was definitely by far the best player I ever played with," said Flo referring to Gianfranco Zola.

"Not only was he a great player but he was a great person as well. Teaching all the young guys around him.

"He was a gentlemen in every way and I think even the opposition liked to play against him because he was such a good man in every way.

"The value of him today (would be in excess of £100m) because that was a special player and a special person."
