Ferguson advises transfer-linked Rangers star and why sale would be success

Hamza Igamane took time to start getting a game for Rangers after his summer arrival from his Moroccan homeland.
But it has taken him a lot less time to start being linked with another move away from Ibrox.
Igamane has been watched by Premier League scouts at recent games with five clubs keeping tabs on him.
One of the clubs named were Everton, who had representatives at the Tottenham game as the 22-year-old scored the opener.
Igamane has only been at Rangers a matter of months and been in the team for an even shorter time, so it remains to be seen if any club is looking to make an offer now or just taking a look for the longer term.
West Ham United, Bournemouth, Brentford and Fulham are the other named interested parties.
Hamza Igamane Rangers transfer sale would be success for model
Philippe Clement says everybody he meets is raving about Igamane as he and Jefte start to vindicate Gers’ transfer approach.
Barry Ferguson is one who is a big fan of the Gers ace and insists the £1.7million signing is getting “better and better”.
Of course, it would be seen as a blow if Rangers were to lose the player from their team so soon after he broke into it.
But Ferguson insists selling him on for a profit would suggest his old club are moving in the right direction with player trading, where they’ve failed in recent years.
However, the former club captain would like Igamane to stick around for a while longer.
He told The Go Radio Football Show: "Since he's found a way into the starting XI, he has certainly impressed me, he has scored goals.
"Again, I thought it was another good performance from him, Sunday's cup final.
"If it continues like this, this is the model that Rangers want to use, bring somebody in for, I think it was, a couple of million pounds, hope they improve him as a player and obviously they would like to make a hefty profit.
"But, at this moment in time, I just think it's important for the young man to get games of football under his belt and hopefully, in time, Rangers can make a few quid off him."
Igamane success paves way for future transfers
Such has been the success of the signing of the talented forward, Rangers are looking to forge a link with his old club, AS FAR, according to Moroccan outlet Kora Maroc.
They said: "AS FAR and Rangers are set to sign a partnership that will pave the way for young talents from AS FAR's academy to make an earlier move to Europe.
"The deal will also see friendly matches scheduled between the two clubs, strengthening the ties between them."
"This partnership will be a huge step in the development of AS FAR's rising stars."
