Hamza Igamane is the talk of Rangers Football Club and naturally there's plenty of chatter surrounding the Moroccan hitman's next move.
The 22-year-old striker has burst on to the scene at Ibrox, scoring 13 goals already for Rangers and beginning to turn heads across Europe.
Premier League clubs reportedly watched Igamane lash in Rangers' goal in the 1-1 Europa League draw with Tottenham Hotspur and all eyes are on the striker ahead of this week's trip to Manchester United.
But it's in France where the latest sounds around the Rangers hitman are loudest as Ligue 1 giants Marseille 'seriously consider' a move for Hamza Igamane.
Hamza Igamane 'seriously considered' by Marseille
French newspaper Hespress Francais have mentioned Hamza Igamane alongside Marseille despite Philippe Clement claiming Rangers want to keep the striker around this season.
The outlet has taken to X to claim that L'OM consider Igamane a 'serious candidate' to replace Elye Wahi, who is closing in on a move to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that French striker Wahi is 'closing in' on a move to Rangers' Europa League Final foes after Manchester City moved for Omar Marmoush.
According to Foot Mercato, Frankfurt will look to pay around €25m (£21m) for the services of Wahi this January having banked a whopping €80m (£67.6m) from the sale of Marmoush.
Whilst the Hespress report cites unnamed 'French press' sources as having initially reported the interest, the links largely stem from Twitter rumours surrounding the striker.
This is the first time an established news organisation has linked Marseille to Hamza Igamane and the situation will certainly have Rangers fans a tad nervous this January.
Philippe Clement 'confident' Rangers striker will be sold
Rangers manager Philippe Clement has already hinted that Cyriel Dessers could leave Ibrox this January with upheaval expected within the Ibrox frontline.
The idea that both the Nigerian international striker and Hamza Igamane leave Rangers this month is unthinkable but money talks and the Ibrox club are desperate to recoup transfer funds.
Philippe Clement has previously been grilled on the future of Hamza Igamane and admits he's 'confident' the forward will eventually bank the Gers an almighty profit.
But the Rangers boss has also urged the club's hierarchy to hold on to their top performers and only cash in when the time is right.
"We're not the only club in the world that works like that or has to work like that, it's the world of football now," said Clement.
"I had it a lot in my old clubs also before.
"Somebody can make a next step, a higher step and it's beneficial for the club and the player, there's no possibility to stop them.
"It's part of the story. I've done it also as a player. It's normal in football.
"The other thing is, it's important to know what is the right moment, for the club and the player, that's another thing.
"Those are interesting things. That's going to be something for the future for Hamza, I am confident about that, but not the near future.
"I think it's important now if we want consistency that we're not going to sell players who are performing well.
"Otherwise it becomes even more difficult."
