'Least composed striker in history'...'Best striker we've ever had'...Rangers fans jump on UEFA post

How do you solve a problem like Cyriel Dessers? A question Philippe Clement must answer if Rangers are to enjoy any success this season.
The 29-year old has 10 goals and three assists in 20 appearances – solid numbers – but fans aren't stupid and can see the problems that arise from the Nigeria international leading the line every week.
The squad is starting to look healthier with Danilo and Hamza Igamane available, but the manager will need to start playing them for more than 10 minutes at a time at the end of games Rangers are winning.
Cyriel Dessers impresses with Europa League goal for Rangers
Dessers is one of the strangest players to ever pull on the Light Blue shirt in that you never know what he is going to do from one touch to the next.
As shown perfectly against Olympiacos, he can miss easy chances one minute before looking like a world class finisher the next.
Dessers can cost Rangers points but also win them in the same match, he now has more goals and assists than Jermain Defoe in the same number of games.
The Europa League admin on X loves a bit of Rangers content and their "Dessers' composure" post alongside a video of his goal in Greece has drawn the response you would probably expect from fans.
Rangers fans react as Dessers earns the plaudits
One Rangers fan was, hopefully, being sarcastic when they pleaded:
"We desperately DO NOT want to sell him he's amazing, please no clubs buy him because I've heard Rangers would accept a measly £20m for him."
Another, following a similar pattern put Dessers above the great Ally McCoist:
"Honestly the best striker we’ve ever had at Ibrox, he’s easily the best kept secret in Europe he’d get 40 a season in the prem, hope we don’t lose him."
This fan thinks that Rangers could sell him below his market value….
"Will be typical Rangers when we sell him for way below his worth in January. Some lucky club is getting a bargain for just £10m."
Taking a more honest approach, this fan had to laugh, saying: "Dessers and composure in the same sentence," with another backing up the sentiment, "The least composed striker in the history of the game."
Harsh, but fair.
