Philippe Clement ended the dismal draw in Dundee throwing ideas at the wall and hoping that something would stick for Rangers.
It didn't, and the atmosphere at Ibrox will be toxic, if fans haven't grown that sick of the manager that they stay at home that is.
On home turf is where Rangers have found solace this season and this is how Clement should set his team up to face St Johnstone.

Nicolas Raskin makes a welcome return in midfield after suspension where he will likely be joined by Mohamed Diomande.
There is no doubting the Ivorian's ability, but he needs to find greater consistency and influence domestic games, especially away from home.
The change that needs to be made in Rangers attack
With Ianis Hagi having to be replaced at half time against Dundee and Nedim Bajrami failing to impress once again, the more attack minded shape that has worked previously should be restored.
Danilo and Hamza Igamane have looked good together with Oscar Cortés needing minutes to get his match fitness back.
Vaclav Cerny remains Rangers most potent threat and should be rested if they can get a solid lead and control of the game.
