Soldo rules out move

Rangers’ £2.5million signing target Marko Soldo has ruled out a January move and says he has “no reason to think about it.”

The Croatian midfielder, currently at Osijek in his homeland, is aware of interest from abroad, including Rangers and Real Betis.

But he has only recently signed a new deal and his happy to stay where he is for now before possibly taking the next step in the future.

Dessers latest

Cyriel Dessers has been addressing his Rangers future in an interview given in the Netherlands.

The Nigerian frontman insists he would like to stay at Ibrox but accepts that he may need to move on.

Dessers is ready to hold talks with the club to sort out his future.

Matondo & Dowell

Rabbi Matondo and Kieran Dowell have both been told they can leave Rangers, it is believed.

Matondo already has interest from Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday in England and Torino and Lecce in Italy and could well move on in the coming days.

Gers chiefs have also told Dowell he is free to find a new club with a return to England the most likely.

Grant Hanley interest

A swoop for experienced Scotland defender Grant Hanley has been mooted as he is out of favour at Norwich.

And the Sun’s Alan Nixon is now reporting Birmingham are also interested as a replacement for former Gers target Dion Sanderson.

That would also see Hanley compete for a place at centre-half with Rangers loanee Ben Davies.
