Rangers target who has Ibrox 'wish' won't leave current club in January window

Rangers need new recruits in the January transfer window.
Philippe Clement and Nils Koppen know they must reinforce the squad considering the current form as well as numerous injury issues within the club.
Gers have been linked with Richard King at centre-half, midfielder Oussama Targhalline and others but have yet to make their first acquisition of the window.
One player who has been consistently linked with Rangers is Dundee’s Lyall Cameron.
Cameron feels he can already play at a higher level and appeared to issue a subtle come and get me plea to Ibrox previously.
Dens Park boss Tony Docherty recently addressed Cameron and spoke on how talented the 22-year-old is.
And the manager revealed a desire to keep hold of the player despite Light Blues interest.
Rangers News understands Cameron is likely to remain at Dundee for the remainder of the campaign before assessing his options in the summer.
Lyall Cameron will stay at Dundee until summer
He currently has a number of interested parties and potential suitors both down south and in the MLS.
But Rangers will continue to monitor the midfielder after technical director Koppen acknowledged a need for homegrown talent to be tapped into in what is a saturated and busy market.
Marko Soldo is a Rangers target as is Serbian Sasa Zdjelar but Cameron would provide something tried and tested in the Scottish Premiership not dissimilar to what £640k Connor Barron has done,
Andy Halliday urged Gers to bring in Cameron while the door was recently opened for £3.2m summer Gers target Damian Garcia who has been described as a star with “enormous potential”.
Who have Rangers been linked to in January transfer window?
The list of would-be signings at Ibrox continues to grow on a daily basis with no less than 11 players having already been linked with the club in this month alone.
Following a draw at Dundee last night, Clement – should he remain as manager for the full window – must get things spot on in terms of recruitment.
Chief executive Patrick Stewart is set to address fans this weekend about the window.
