Rangers fans will be hoping there is a pivotal shift in momentum this weekend amid the race for the Scottish Premiership title.

Quite frankly, the Light Blues require Celtic to slip up and there’s every chance of that happening when they play Hearts at Tynecastle on Saturday.

Rangers then face Kilmarnock on Sunday and the best scenario heading into next weekend’s massive Old Firm clash would be having both sides locked on 81 points each with three games left.

But regardless of what happens in Gorgie, Rangers need to focus on gaining three points against Derek McInnes’ Killie side who are looking to wrap up fourth spot in the league.

Bar the win over Killie in January at Ibrox, Rangers haven’t really been at their best against them this season.

And it’s no wonder given how impressive the Ayrshire outfit have been after surviving relegation last season.

Below, Rangers News provide you with everything there is to know about the Kilmarnock meeting including how to watch on TV, the latest team news, an injury round-up plus the appointed officials.

Rangers team and injury news

Philippe Clement faced the press on Friday at the Rangers Training Centre ahead of the crucial clash with Killie on Sunday.

The Rangers manager will be without defender Connor Goldson for the rest of the season, but Ridvan Yilmaz has a chance of returning to action after his own injury.

Elsewhere, Clement provided updates on Abdallah Sima, Rabbi Matondo, Oscar Cortes and Danilo by rating their chances of being involved again for Rangers before the season ends.

Referee & VAR

The on-field referee for Rangers vs Kilmarnock is David Dickinson and his assistants will be Calum Spence and Alan Mulvanny.

Grant Irvine has been handed fourth official duties, while Steven Kirkland and Andrew McWilliam are the VAR and AVAR respectively.

As per Transfermarkt, Dickinson has refereed five Rangers games this season. He awarded a controversial penalty kick to Killie during the last meeting at Rugby Park in February.
