Rangers seem to be picking up the pace in the transfer market by freeing up space to supplement Philippe Clement's team.
The squad is seeing something of an exodus with the manager giving the green light for players like Rabbi Matondo, Kieran Dowell and Tom Lawrence to leave the Ibrox outfit.
Clement is also looking to tie players like Findlay Curtis and Zak Lovelace to new deals, with an update on Rangers' offer for Ianis Hagi being reported by Sky Sports News.
Ianis Hagi contract update after Rangers offer claim
The playmaker has emerged as a key figure for the Gers boss since returning to action this season.
A contract dispute saw his influence delayed but the Romania international is playing at as good a level as he has ever done for the club.
Heart and Hand claimed that Rangers had begun negotiations with Hagi, however, not according to Sky Sports:
"It is understood no new deal has yet been offered to Ianis Hagi, despite reports."
Hagi on his love for Rangers after Italian education
Hagi has undergone an eventful few seasons, but now seems to fully appreciate what he has in Glasgow.
When asked by Italian journalist Luca Bendoni if he would ever consider a return to Fiorentina – who had been credited with an interest in the summer – the 26-year old said:
"The eighteen months at Fiorentina were crucial for my growth: I played only two games in the first team, but it was the life and football experience in which I learned the most," declared Hagi.
"It helped me understand who I am.A good relationship has bornwith the fans: they still write to me with affection andthey want to come back.
"Would I think about it? Now I'm fine in Glasgow,I love the Rangers and I've won many trophies here. Then in football you never know: of course Florence will always have a special placein my heart".
Hopefully, a deal can be done, and Hagi can add many more trophies to his Rangers collection.
