'No SPFL winter break'

As part of the fixture release, the SPFL have also confirmed that there will be once again be no winter break due to the increased demands of the UEFA schedule.

With five Scottish teams set to compete in UEFA competitions next season, the revamped league phase which includes eight fixtures has ensured that there will be no winter break for a second season in a row.

In an SPFL statement to supporters, the body said:

"The second season of the expanded UEFA club competitions – the league phase of the Champions League and Europa League again runs until the end of January – exerts additional pressure on the domestic calendar. As was the case for 2024/25, there will be no scheduled William Hill Premiership winter break in season 2025/26."
